The little chicks aren't so little anymore.

Day 5
The chicks are still happy and healthy. They are getting more mature looking feathers, too. I haven't noticed any growth but they probably have grown some. The perch I made them entertains them, but not in the intended way. They like to cuddle with the cups or sit on top of the cups, instead of balance on the stick.

Day 3
The chicks were fine today. The only new thing is that I added a little perch into their cage.
I cut a hole in two plastic cups and stuck a cup on each side of a small stick. A few of them realize what to do with it. The other just peck at the plastic cups.

2nd Day
Upon waking up this morning, I realized the chicks found a way to spill all the water out of their waterer. I had to clean out the wood shavings and put their water on bricks to keep them from making a mess.
I also got a thermometer for their cage.
They seem to be more comfortable in their new home than they were yesterday.

First Day Home
Today was the chicks first day home. They are very cozy in their new brooder. They love to chase each other around. They eat a lot. They also kick wood chips into their waterer.
